  Great location in York!
  Grand old lady at the hotel and buy a couple humidifier and try to make your stay present and memorable as possible.

  Stayed for one night and it was great. I called to get a room an hour before getting there and the owners were very accommodating, they even turned on the lights and aircon in the room prior to our arrival. The rooms are clean and modern. Would stay again.

  While the room was fine .based on the pictures wasn't what was expected. Felt like some how got down graded .photos showed a restaurant apparently closed now for a couple years. No WiFi .
  Exhaust fan was so loud that every time the neighbour turned it on it woke me up

  Lovely old fashioned place open fire place wife had grilled barramundi me roast lamb 4 vegetables roast potatoes gravy

  This place is pretty good but it is infested with ants everywhere, pretty sure their is an ant nest in the room in the wall somewhere. The bed is very comfy and the the shower is decent but the drain system doesn’t work so every time you shower you end up with a small lake in your bathroom that never leaves and you have to walk through that small lake every time you need to use the bathroom. This place also has quite a bad case of little bugs. The door seals are very bad which lets all the little bugs straight in to fly around all the very dull yellow lights that they love and sometimes you get ants and bugs in your bed. Other then the super annoying bugs, this place has a very comfortable room
